The SMU Arts Festival returns in 2011 in a brand new format and with a brand new name. Every semester, we invite you to indulge in our Season of Arts as SMU showcases its best student talents in the fields of music, dance, theatre, film and visual arts. U+ARTS is proudly brought to you by the Arts Cluster in the Office of Student Life (OSL) and supported by the Arts and Cultural Fraternity (ACF).
About OSL
The Office of Student Life(OSL) aims to promote an active and balanced life among students, complementing the educational mission of the university. Besides promoting the arts, sports and adventure through co-curricular activities (CCA), OSL also aims to nurture leadership skills amongst students by working closely with student leadership groups like the Student Association (SMUSA) and the Ambassadorial Corps (ASMU), and specially formed student committees. These groups organise university-wide events such as Convocation, Freshmen Team-building Camp, Patron's Day, Arts Festival and SMU Peace Day, just to name a few.

About ACF
The Arts and Cultural Fraternity (ACF) is a student-run constituent body that represents the interests of the arts and cultural clubs to the administration and to the Students’ Association Council. With 27 arts clubs and societies under their wing, ACF has one of the largest presences in SMU. From overseeing the strategic development of their clubs as well as arts and culture in general in SMU, to planning flagship events such as Arts Camp, the ACF Giveaway and EVE, ACF is the standard bearer of arts, culture and vibrancy in SMU.
